System for Local Authorities (LA)
The solution for LA includes the following:
- Cash Collection System (CCS) - Deals with the management of payments received at cash till. The system is interfaced with the Trade Licence System from which the cashier can view details of a particular invoice for a client and subsequently print a receipt
- Trade Licence - Covers the application entry, payment advice generation and license printing, cessation of trade, cancellation and renewal of trade license
- Development Permit -Covers application form entry, recommendation recording, report generation and permit printing etc
- Fee collection - Covers all collections
- Tax Control System - Keeps track of tax payers (entertainment, publicity) . Provides the facility for printing of letters
- Tender Exercise System - Keeps track of the different applicants and provides flexibility in the tendering exercise. Also provides the facility for printing of invoices
- Advertisement Fees - Keeps track of advertisements and advertising agencies
- Scavenging - The Local Authorities system provides regular scavenging service free of charge. However in some LA's, commercial establishments are required to pay a scavenging fee
