As a Corporate Sponsor of the 7th Corporate Registers Forum (CRF 2010), State Informatics Limited presented its solutions and services for the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and in particular, presented its Companies & Business Registration Integrated System (CBRIS).
The CBRIS is a turnkey solution for the ROC which has been successfully deployed for the ROC's of Mauritius, Namibia and Botswana.
A delegates tour of the Companies Division office in Port Louis was organized by Registrar of Companies, Mauritius, where SIL had the opportunity to show its Companies & Business Registration Integrated System (CBRIS) working live.
SIL also made a presentation titled ‘Maintaining Data Integrity in Corporate Registers – The Mauritian Experience’ conducted by Mr. Vishal Soockeea (Account Manager - Business Development Group), where challenges of the ROC, solutions from SIL, and the benefits & references of the SIL ROC system were presented.
Mr. Dhan Koolwant (Sales Manager - Business Development Group), moderated a Breakout Session, covering the theme of 'IT Stream - IT Security Audit of
Information Systems & Incorporating Security in IT Solutions for Corporate Registers'.
The Corporate Registers Forum (CRF) is an International non-profit organisation for administrators of corporate and securities registers with the aim to provide delegates with opportunities to review the developments in corporate business registers internationally and exchange experiences and information on the present and future operation of corporate business registration systems. The current 31 Jurisdictions of the CRF include Singapore, Australia, Canada, India, United Kingdom, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zambia, among others. Around 90 foreign delegates (Registrars and Executives of Member States) participated in the CRF 2010.
This prestigious event was hosted by the Registrar of Companies, Mauritius, and held between the 19th and 23rd of April 2010 at the Sugar Beach Hotel, Wolmar, Flic en Flac, Mauritius.
