State Informatics Limited ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Tuesday 6th November, 2009
State Informatics Limited (SIL) is proud to announce that it has been upgraded from its ISO 9001:2000 Certification to the ISO 9001:2008 Certification.
We are among the first IT companies in Mauritius to receive this new certification.

SIL’s quality journey began in 2002, where SIL won the Mauritian Quality Institute (MQI) "Award for Quality Commitment".
The Mauritian Quality Institute (MQI) is the national umbrella body coordinating the Quality effort in Mauritius. It is an independent, not-for-profit organization that is committed to enhancing Mauritius national well-being and global leadership through the adoption of quality principles and quality practices in all sectors of the economy.
In 2003, MQI again awarded SIL with its "Best Practice Award - Process Management" in recognition of the effective management of its business processes.
Following these recognitions and to continually improve on its achievements, SIL decided to scale even greater heights. In 2003, SIL's Quality journey was changed by redesigning the quality system towards achieving both the SEI's Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for software and the ISO 9001:2000 Certification.
In 2006, SIL gained the highest recognition with the MQI by winning the “National Quality Award”, while at the same time reaching its goal of becoming an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company.
Thanks to the support and dedication of its entire staff, SIL is now proud to be a member of the ISO 9001:2008 family.
Our commitment to quality is the cornerstone of our approach to constantly deliver timely, cost effective and world class solutions & services to our customers, thereby adding value to their businesses and hence .. taking them to new heights.
