Management Excellence

State Informatics Limited and Oracle held an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) event at Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel in Caudan Waterfront, Port Louis. The focus of the event was on Management Excellence.
Management Excellence is a strategy to align management processes to focus on competitive advantage through driving and detecting changes, following up on those changes and sharing the lessons learned across the value chain. It's a systematic approach to automate, standardise and integrate all management processes across the enterprise.
A presentation on Oracle’s EPM System: Driving Management Excellence was conducted by Mr. Seldon Goodwin of Oracle Corporation South Africa and which consisted of the following topics:
- Weathering the Crisis
- Achieving Positive Results in Negative Financial Times
- Performance Management Applications
- BI Applications & Data Warehousing
An opening address was made by the Deputy General Manager - Business Development Group of SIL, Mr. Satyananda Narasiah and which was followed by the presentation on Oracle's EPM System.
